The target audience is someone with no crochet experience.

This is an 2 hour workshop.

In this hand-on workshop, you will be introduced to crochet. The concepts that will be presented are:

• Chain
• Single Crochet
• Double Crochet
• If time permits, Half Double Crochet (and no, in this context, half of a double is NOT a single!)

Bring a ball of worsted weight yarn in a light, bright colour and smooth in texture, as well as crochet hook, either a 4 mm (size G) or 5 mm (size H). These may be purchased at stores such as Michael's, Zellers, WalMart, or specialty knitting/crocheting shops.

It would also be beneficial to purchase a needle and stitch gauge, a yarn needle, and point protectors.

If you are unable to get these supplies, do not worry - you may use the school's supplies.

The cost of this seminar is $25.00.

But if you register at the same time for the Introduction to Crochet - Level II workshop, you can get both for $45.00, a savings of 10%.
